Future Roadmap

What We Are Building Next.

Amanah is being built in the open. This is what is coming, quarter by quarter, and what each piece is meant to do for members.

Pillar One

Ethics & Shariah Wrapper

The layer that makes Amanah different from a general chamber: business ethics held to a standard, advised on properly, and enforced through reconciliation rather than conflict.

Live from Q1

Bridge Compliance Advisory

A standing panel of Shariah scholars and business advisors members can consult confidentially on contracts, revenue structures, and specific transactions.

Distinct from the general Business Advisory panel. Focuses on riba (interest) exposure, gharar (excessive uncertainty) in contracts, and sector screening (avoiding haram revenue lines). Available as part of Core and Chartered tiers; add-on for Associate.

Ethical Business Audit Certificate

An annual, public audit of each member business against the BRIDGE values and core Islamic business ethics — fair dealing, transparency, honest weights and measures, no exploitation.

Conducted by an independent panel under the Governing Council. Members opt in; passing businesses carry an ‘Amanah Certified’ mark on their directory listing and marketing. Renewed yearly. Failing an audit triggers private guidance, not public naming, in year one.

03
Coming Soon

Sulh — Ethics-Based Dispute Resolution

A mediation track for member-to-member disputes, grounded in Sulh (reconciliation) principles before any matter proceeds to arbitration or litigation.

Closes gap #16 from the original audit (dispute resolution) in a way distinct to Amanah: mediators drawn from the advisory panel, reconciliation attempted first, formal arbitration only as a fallback with mutual consent.

Pillar Two

Future Roadmap (Full Chamber / Member Benefits)

What a chamber does beyond the monthly meeting: speaking for members, opening doors, backing them day to day, and measuring whether any of it works. Timing for each is being set by the Governing Council.

Government Representation

Putting member concerns in front of government, regulators, and policy makers as a single organised voice.

24/7 Support

A support line members can reach at any hour, not only during office hours or at monthly meetings.

Trade Missions

Organised delegations that open markets and buyers beyond Chennai for member businesses.

Awards & Recognition

Formal recognition for members whose businesses and conduct set the standard for the chamber.

Employment & Talent

Connecting member businesses to people who need work, and to the skills those businesses are short of.

Sector-Specific Committees

Standing groups per sector, so members work with people facing the same conditions they do.

Data & Market Intelligence

Sector data and market reporting members can act on, gathered and published by the chamber.

Strategic Partnerships

Agreements with institutions and trade bodies that widen what a single member could reach alone.

Member Success Measurement

Tracking whether membership actually moves a business forward, and publishing what the numbers say.

Grow Together

Chartered Members Shape This Roadmap.

Every item here was shaped by the people who joined first. Chartered Members sit closest to these decisions and carry that standing for the lifetime of their membership.
